This is making me so emotional. Mini me. Little di This is making me so emotional. Mini me. Little did she know what life had in store for her. 🖤 Through art, education, and accepting her inner world, she would discover the beauty of kintsugi - that what has been broken and lovingly repaired can become even more meaningful. #kintsugiart #kintsugiembroidery #contemporaryembroidery
THE painting. The one which started my embroidery THE painting. The one which started my embroidery art journey. Eva. My urge to make tactile art pushed me to experiment with threads. I still remember this day at university, when I tried to figure it out how to visually transmit my inner world. The idea was clear and the process followed so organically. I can still feel how content I felt when creating Eva. 🍎 I knew it then, and I know it now - embroidery art is my way of expression. The way of describing my inner landscape. And the best part, feeling of contentment when creating kintsugi embroidery art is still present to this day. I never liked the idea of choosing one thing in life. To be defined by one profession or talent that you have. I believe in curiosity. I want to stay intrigued by life, and combine my interests in different ways, forms or concepts. To feel alive. To be full of life.

Through this exploration, I created a collection of five artworks that intertwine these ideas, expressing my own interpretation and understanding of them. During this process, I discovered a new part of myself — the part that is curious and eager to seek knowledge. ✨ #kintsugiart #kintsugiembroidery #kintsugiartist #japanesephilosophy #zenbuddhism
