Izdelaj čisto svoj zvezek, ki hrani tebi pomembne Izdelaj čisto svoj zvezek, ki hrani tebi pomembne misli. 〰️ Na rokodelskem taboru, ki ga organizira @marianum_verzej in bo potekal od torka, 7. julija do četrtka, 9. julija, bomo umetnost in rokodelstvo prepletali v obliko zvezka. Pri tem bomo ročno izdelali papir, ki bo sestavljal naše zvezke, platnice pa bomo okrasili s sodobno vezenino. Tabor je namenjen otrokom med 12. in 17. letom, udeležba je brezplačna. I started noticing that for me it’s not just about USING sustainable material for my base, but how can I COMMUNICATE with it. How material can support artwork in conveying it’s message. That’s why I am drawn to @junele.sandra biodegradable wall panels, made with recycled cotton or wool textile. I appreciate when art can speak at tactile level, and is inviting the viewer into multimodal experience. Being present as you feel the texture under your fingers. THE painting. The one which started my embroidery THE painting. The one which started my embroidery art journey. Eva. My urge to make tactile art pushed me to experiment with threads. I still remember this day at university, when I tried to figure it out how to visually transmit my inner world. The idea was clear and the process followed so organically. I can still feel how content I felt when creating Eva. 🍎 I knew it then, and I know it now - embroidery art is my way of expression. The way of describing my inner landscape. And the best part, feeling of contentment when creating kintsugi embroidery art is still present to this day.
